luckereum

Luckereum docs.

The first launchpad turning coins into jackpots on Ethereum. Everything below is enforced by the contracts; the numbers are their constants.

Overview

Every coin launched on Luckereum carries its own prize pot, and is paired with an asset its creator picks at launch: ETH, a stablecoin, a crypto blue chip or memecoin, or a tokenized stock or ETF. 1% of every trade of the coin flows into its pot, on the bonding curve and later on Uniswap, whatever app the trade comes from. Buying through Luckereum gives you tickets. When a round's clock runs out, Chainlink VRF picks the winning tickets and the prize is paid in the coin's pair.

There is no house edge on the pot: the pot is made only of trading fees and of what people add to it, and all of it goes to winners or into the next round.

Quick start

  1. 1Connect a wallet on Ethereum mainnet.
  2. 2Pick a coin and buy it on Luckereum for at least its minimum ticket (about $2.50 of its pair, 0.001 ETH for ETH coins). That buy is a ticket in the coin's current round.
  3. 3Hold. Selling or sending any of the coin before the draw voids your tickets.
  4. 4When the clock runs out, the draw happens on its own. If you win, the prize is sent to your wallet in the coin's pair.

Want your own coin? Launch one in a single transaction (see below).

Pairs

A coin's pair is the asset it trades against, chosen at launch and fixed forever: native ETH, or an ERC-20 from the launchpad's registry (stablecoins, wrapped bitcoin, blue chips and memecoins, and Ondo tokenized stocks and ETFs). Everything about the coin is in its pair: the bonding curve, every trade and its 1.5% fee, the pot, the prizes, the creator's earnings and, after graduation, the coin / pair Uniswap v4 pool. A TSLA coin's jackpot is paid in tokenized Tesla; a PEPE coin's in PEPE.

Each pair has its own thresholds, set in its own units when the pair is registered so they are worth about the same in dollars: a minimum ticket of about $2.50, a minimum pot of about $5 to draw, and a curve that raises about $12,000 before graduating. A coin keeps the values of its launch forever; the dollar figures below move with each pair's price.

The launchpad's owner can register a pair or stop new launches with it. Neither ever touches an existing coin: coins on a disabled pair keep trading, drawing and paying as before. Wrapped ETH is not offered: native ETH covers it.

Launching a coin

A launch is one transaction. You choose a name, a ticker, an image and an optional description and links (stored on IPFS), then two things that are fixed forever: the coin's game (Jackpot, Raffle or Mega) and its draw rhythm (1 hour, 6 hours, 24 hours).

You can seed the pot at launch so the first round already has something to win, and make a first buy of your own coin in the same transaction (the creator's first buy is not a ticket), both in the pair. With an ERC-20 pair the launchpad pulls exactly what the launch uses: one EIP-2612 permit signature when the token supports it (USDC, ENA, ARB…), otherwise an approval first. Every Luckereum coin address ends in 777.

The coin itself is a plain ERC-20 with permit: 1,000,000,000 tokens minted once, no owner, no mint function, no transfer tax, no blacklist, no pause, not upgradeable. As the creator you earn 0.25% of every trade of your coin, in its pair, which you can withdraw at any time.

Fees

Each trade pays 1.5% of its pair side, on the curve and on the Uniswap v4 pool alike, in the pair. Moving coins between wallets costs nothing but gas.

ShareGoes to
1%The coin's pot.
0.25%The coin's creator.
0.25%Luckereum: keepers, Chainlink fees, development.

On graduation to Uniswap, a one-time fee of 2% of the raise goes to the protocol. Chainlink's VRF fee is paid in ETH: from the pot for ETH coins, from the ETH draw vault for every other pair (see below).

Tickets and rounds

Any buy made through Luckereum of at least the coin's minimum ticket (0.001 ETH for ETH coins, about $2.50 for other pairs), on the curve or after graduation, is a ticket in the coin's open round. A ticket's weight is what it spent in the pair: a $100 buy has ten times the chances of a $10 one. Buys made on other apps still fill the pot but don't give tickets.

A round's clock starts with its first ticket and lasts the coin's rhythm. The second it runs out, the round closes: tickets bought after that go to the next round, never to the closed one. A round is drawn once the pot holds at least the coin's minimum draw pot (0.002 ETH for ETH coins, about $5 for other pairs); until then it keeps growing.

Hold to win

A ticket only wins if the wallet that bought it hasn't sold or sent a single token of the coin since. Each Luckereum coin counts the transfers every wallet sends; a ticket remembers that count when it's bought, and a picked ticket whose wallet has moved coins since is skipped.

Receiving coins never voids a ticket, and zero-amount transfers don't count, so nobody can void your ticket for you. Buying more never hurts: new buys are new tickets.

Games

The creator picks one game at launch. Whatever a draw doesn't pay out stays in the pot for the next round.

RaffleThree different tickets take 45%, 25% and 10%.20%
MegaThe draw hits one time in 4. On a hit, one ticket takes 90%. On a miss, the whole prize rolls over.10% on a hit, 100% on a miss

Draws and randomness

  1. 1Draw. Once a round has closed, anyone can start its draw (our keeper does it within seconds). The pot becomes the round's prize and the jackpot contract asks Chainlink VRF v2.5 for a random number, paying the VRF fee in ETH from the prize. A draw refuses to start if that fee is above 0.01 ETH or above 10% of the pot.
  2. 2Answer. Chainlink returns a random number with a cryptographic proof checked on-chain. Nobody, including us, can know or choose it in advance.
  3. 3Settle. Anyone can then settle the round: winners are picked among its tickets, weighted by what they spent, without replacement (a picked ticket leaves the draw, so it can't win twice and void tickets can't soak up picks). Up to 10 picks are made per prize; a prize nobody can take rolls over.

If Chainlink is slow. After 6 hours without an answer, anyone can request again (paid like the first request); whichever answer arrives first counts. After 7 days, the round can fall back to the hash of a future Ethereum block, committed in advance, so a pot can never be stuck forever.

Every draw is public: the random number, the tickets and the result are on-chain, so anyone can recompute it.

The ETH draw vault

Chainlink VRF is paid in ETH, but a USDC or TSLA pot holds no ETH. So the jackpot contract keeps an ETH draw vault that pays the VRF fee of every coin not paired with ETH. Anyone can top it up with fundVault(); Luckereum funds it from its own ETH fees and its keeper keeps it filled. It has no withdrawal function: ETH sent to it can only ever pay VRF fees. One coin's pot never pays for another coin's draw, and the vault never pays for an ETH coin's draw.

If the vault cannot cover a request, the draw simply waits (the round stays closed, the pot stays whole) and the keeper starts it once the vault is topped up. The 7-day fallback needs no VRF fee at all.

Prizes and claims

Winnings are credited in the coin's pair the moment a round settles, and our keeper sends them to the winners' wallets. Settling a draw never transfers a token, so nothing a winner's wallet does can block a draw or anyone else's prize.

Anyone can trigger the payment of a winner with claim(account, pair), which only ever pays that account. A winner that cannot receive the pair (a contract without a receive function, or an address a token issuer has blacklisted or blocked) keeps its prize and collects it to another address with claimTo(to, pair), from the My luck page. Creators do the same with their fees: withdraw(account, pair) and withdrawTo(to, pair).

Bonding curve

A new coin trades on a constant-product bonding curve in its pair, with a virtual reserve of about $4,000 of the pair (1.5 ETH for ETH coins). The curve sells 800,000,000 tokens (80% of the supply) and completes when it has raised three times that, about $12,000 (4.5 ETH). You can buy and sell on the curve at any time; sells use a permit signature of the coin, so no separate approval transaction is needed.

Graduation to Uniswap

When the curve completes, anyone can graduate the coin. The raise (minus the 2% graduation fee) and the remaining tokens go into a coin / pair Uniswap v4 pool opened at the curve's final price. The liquidity position is sent to the dead address 0x…dEaD, so the liquidity is burned and can never be pulled. Tokens left over are burned too.

The pool uses the Luckereum hook, which takes the same 1.5% of the pair side of every swap from any router, so the pot keeps filling after graduation. Buys made through Luckereum keep giving tickets.

Contracts

Ethereum mainnet, Luckereum V2. The source code is public and verified. The contracts are immutable: no proxy, no upgrade. Coins are plain LuckToken contracts with the same bytecode as V1.

What the owner can do

The launchpad has an owner with three powers only: changing the address that receives the protocol's share of future fees, pausing new launches, and choosing which pairs new coins can launch with (and their thresholds). The owner cannot touch pots, prizes, the draw vault, balances, fees, trading, selling or any existing coin, and coins themselves have no owner at all. The jackpot, the hook and the pool executor have no owner.

Pair issuers

Some pairs are run by an issuer that keeps controls over its token, outside Luckereum: Circle (USDC) and Tether (USDT) can blacklist addresses and pause their token, Coinbase (cbBTC) likewise, the WBTC custodian can pause transfers, and Ondo can pause, block addresses on or upgrade its tokenized stocks and ETFs. Several of these tokens are upgradeable by their issuer.

Those controls only ever reach the coins paired with that token. A paused or frozen pair stalls its own coins' trading and payouts until the issuer lifts it; every other pair keeps working, because each pair has its own ledgers. A blocked winner keeps its prize and can claim it to another address. Draws and settlements never move a pair token. If you would rather avoid issuer risk, pick an ETH coin.

Risks

  • Memecoins are volatile and most go to zero. Jackpots are games of chance: only play with what you can afford to lose.
  • Smart contracts can contain bugs. Luckereum's are open source, verified, immutable and tested on Ethereum mainnet forks; read them before you play.
  • A pot is worth what its pair is worth: a TSLA or PEPE pot moves with that asset's price, in dollars.
  • Pair issuers (Circle, Tether, Coinbase, BitGo, Ondo) can pause or block their tokens, which would freeze the coins paired with them until lifted. ETH coins carry no issuer risk.
  • Draws depend on Chainlink VRF; the block-hash fallback after 7 days is weaker randomness and only exists so pots can't get stuck.
  • Luckereum is not available where such games are prohibited. Check the rules where you live.
